Kensie was the definition of a gym baby today in every sense.
I mean seriously, look at those feet. π I promise I bathe her every night…I also promise I cleaned the gym floors this morning. She just finished the job with her crawling. π€·πΌββοΈ
I coached in the morning today and K was great, but it meant she was late for her morning nap and she had woken up an hour earlier than usual today. She napped for an hour once we left as I ran an errand and then was a little temperamental when she woke up.
Kensie played for a bit but was fussy off and on and refused to eat lunch. I didn’t think she’d been up long enough to go down for her second nap but boy was I wrong.
I let her crawl around a bit and she was happy until she pulled the cabinet open and it pushed her on her butt. π Normally she’d brush it off. This was a very dramatic ordeal.
Then we walked the dogs in an attempt to push off her nap some more.
In between her fussing, I did finally catch a photo of her kissing herself on her mirror.
When I put her down for her nap she was silent and OUT. Guess homegirl really does take after her momma!
While we are (back) on the sleep topic, a friend sent me the Sleep Sense book today. Another friend had sent it to me last time I was talking about it and I saw how long it was, wondered when the heck I’d ever have time to read it, and forgot about it.
I realized today that I only had to read the portion associated with her age. Go me.
Chris has been covering a lot of hours at the gym since we are short coaches right now, so we are going to start the sleep training with her as soon as our new coaches start since I’ll need his help with it.
I’m already counting down the days until I can start sleeping through the night again. π
