Somehow, 7 months have come and gone!
Elle is our long, chunky bundle of pure love and smiles. I remember this age being my favorite with K and it’s true so far with L, too! She’s starting to show so much of her personality and while she can roll and army crawl her way across a room she isn’t completely mobile yet. π
Her bond with Kensie is the best part of it all. K was the first one to ever make L laugh and she’s still just as entertained by her today.
Kensie may be in the thick of the 3s as far as her attitude goes, but she is consistently the BEST big sister to Leighton.
She plays with her, shares with her, checks on her and is constantly giving her hugs and kisses and saying “hi my cutie girllll” π
Leighton is still our little angel baby. She’s content in just about any situation, takes solid naps and only wakes briefly to eat at night. It’s the toddler I’m constantly exhausted from. π
We’re still going to the chiropractor regularly and I still swear by it!! We went longer than usual without an appointment over the holidays and it shows in her temperament and sleep.
We’ve been taking K to Revival Chiropractic since she was 2 months old and L since she was 24 hours old and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Cuellar and their entire practice. If you have a baby and are having ANY issues, from eating to sleeping to sickness to “colic”…give them a call. They don’t hold a baby by the ankles and crack their back like people think. π
I’m excited and thankful to watch this babe grow but I am already missing my “baby” and feeling like 7 months was lightyears ago. Luckily we have 12…yes, TWELVE, more babies joining our crew between now and June so I can get my baby fix without having to birth another one myself. π (Even though Kensie keeps asking if there’s another baby in my belly…π there’s NOT, to clarify).
Speaking of KB…I grabbed this magnetic potty chart off Amazon in hopes to get this child to poop on the potty!
We tried the treasure box thing but it sort of back fired. She was excited for about 5 seconds until she realized she couldn’t have EVERYTHING in the box at once and lost her mind. π€¦πΌββοΈ
I’m also going to attempt to use the chart to convince K to stay in her bed until her Hatch light comes on, too, but I won’t hold my breath on that one. She turned it on herself the other night and said “mommy! Look! It’s pink. I can get up now!”
So, thank you God, for sending me myself as a child. I feel every ounce of your payback.
I’d also like to blame her recent night time tantrums for me not posting L’s 7 month update on time (it was yesterday) because she now likes to yell and scream for at least 1 hour a night and tell us she’s scared and beg someone to sleep in her bed with her or let her sleep in our bed. She’s a persistent little sasshole. π€¬

And last but not least – Amazon, if you’re reading this…I’d like a job as your Head of Shipping Efficiency. If you don’t have that department already, I’ll gladly create it. If you do, fire all your management because the excessively large boxes you send tiny things in baffles me.
If y’all never hear from me again, it’s because Jeff Bezos called and I’m now a millionaire. βπΌ
