Well, this post didn’t get done last night because Kensie was a cry baby and it resulted in me letting her sleep in bed with us. Yeah I’m a pushover. It was more for me than her. π
We had another early morning at the gym and Kensie loved seeing “da-da”!
When we got home – it was party time. Casey came over with Harper and Riley for the babes to all play and it’s safe to say that Kensie is slightly infatuated with Ri guy!
The rest of our day was pretty routine and involved Kensie throwing her lunch all over the place instead of eating it. I’m not sure exactly how much of her turkey made it to her stomach and how much made it into Jack’s stomach. π
What I am sure of is that she turned her muffin into a huge crumbled mess. I found more crumbs every time we did a diaper change the rest of the day…
I don’t really know what was going on with KB last night. She started crying around 10, would doze back off for a few minutes and wake back up wailing. Chris went in and rubbed her back and the second he’d stop, she’d scream again. It was full on hyperventilating type screaming, too.
I don’t know if she had a bad dream, was just uncomfortable or what, but it was definitely not her fussy/annoyed/attention wanting cry. I brought her in bed and held her and even though she stopped crying it took about 5 minutes of deep breaths for her to calm all the way back down so she could fall back asleep.
She only woke up once in the middle of the night to eat and slept in an hour longer than she has been this morning so maybe she just needed her momma…or maybe the crying last night wore her out a little extra.
All I know is I got some extra sleep out of the situation and I think most moms would agree that’s a win!
